Looking at the water is beautiful, goats, ducks, people fishing and Boat's going bye.
Perfect place for taking kids to the park, canoeing, basketball, taking special occasion pictures, exercising and just a peaceful walk
For the most part, the park is beautiful and well kept. The playground, however, is disgusting. There are cigarette butts and beer bottle caps among the trash on the ground, and loud cursing can often be heard from the pavilion next to the jungle gym. Last week, there were profanities written all over the play area, as well as racial slurs. I assume that the destruction is at the hands of unattended children. I no longer feel comfortable taking my children there.
Located on the Pocomoke River, this is the largest of Snow Hill's three town parks. Canoes, kayaks and motor boats may be launched from the two docks (no fee) and plenty of parking is available for boat trailers. Fishing is permitted from the docks. There are also basketball courts, children's playground and a dog park. The indoor restrooms are always locked and are likely no longer maintained or functioning, but there are several port-a-potties throughout the park. No fee for entry.
Nice place. Not in the best area.
